Why is there a hold on my account?

Your account may have a hold for several reasons. To view the holds on your account, kindly follow these steps.

To know why you have been placed on hold, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the my.allianceu.edu website.
  2. Sign in with your Alliance University email.
  3. Click on Student Portal, as shown below.
  4. Click on Student Portal
  1. The number of holds on the account will display at the top of the page.
  2. Click on the hold, and a drop-down menu will describe the type of hold, as shown below.
  1. Further down the page is the description of the hold and who to contact.
